In celebration of Love Your Park Week, Hunting Park United invited neighbors into the community garden to get some flowers and plants to give to neighborhood moms for Mother's Day and we hosted a gardener's training called "Planning Your Summer Garden" led by Bill Shick of SHARE.

Many new faces came out to get their first glimpse of our new community garden which is getting rave reviews among the community!

Mike, aka "King Daddy" is known for setting up his drums in Hunting Park and putting on a great show for passersby. A Streets Department Traffic Engineer by trade, he gives drum lessons for $10/hour to those that can catch him in the park. Call him at 267-333-6186 to get your drum on!
